I will be displaying a new collection of small works at the 51st Corn Hill Arts Festival, the weekend of July 13th. Stop by to view my latest batch of mini giants, as well as a few larger works from recent exhibitions. Head over to their website for full event details, and follow along on Instagram to view works in progress!
I am sharing a new collection of work along side nine Rochester area artists for this new exhibition at Rochester Contemporary Art Center. Landscapes and The Unbuilt reflects artist interactions with land and natural places by pairing each artist with a Genesee Land Trust conserved property. For my exploration, I chose Full Lotus Farm, a permaculture/ no-till farm located in Newark, New York. I visited with Sarah and Sam on their farm this fall, walked the land with them, and learned about this sustainable regenerative process. This new collection of paintings is what continues to grow from that experience. To read more about this exhibition, visit Rochester Contemporary Art Center and check out Full Lotus Farm to see all the beauty and delicious food that comes from their farm.
